地球給人類的時間已剩下不多了嗎？

有一部討論人類能否在地球繼續生存的紀錄片 ─ 第11個小時( The 11 th Hour)，討論地球暖化、森林亂伐、大量物種滅絕及海洋生物耗竭等問題，並經科學家證實其嚴重性已迫在眉睫

地球各地風災、水災、乾旱頻傳，預估21世紀中葉，因為氣候而造成的難民會高達一億五千萬(150 million)，多驚人的數字。

氣候不正常的徵兆已越來越進逼，台灣最近的莫拉克颱風，帶來超多雨量，一整年的雨在一天內下完，大地無法負荷，造成山林移位、土石鬆動，許多家破人亡。看到這些恐怖的情況，難免杞人憂天，對未來感到憂慮。

曾認為澳洲是人間最後淨土，位於太平洋及印度洋包圍中，遠離人口密集的其他陸地，也遠離一切戰爭與是非。南極上空，臭氧層破裂，離南半球的澳洲很近，現在應該是南半球的冬天，但澳洲卻卻高溫如夏。

有個友人住在風景宜人的墨爾本市郊，擁有美麗的農場，我以前常去拜訪，但前幾個月，一場森林大火已燒到他家隔壁，只差一點，美麗的家園就成了灰燼，森林大火已越來越逼近人們居住的地方！當自然平衡被破獲後，地球上找不到最後一塊淨土，Last Paradise 的夢想也很脆弱。

人類過度的開發，已經威脅到地球的生態系統，就算在天涯海角，都無法避免大自然失調所帶來的災禍。如果12點是終點，第11個小時就是我們現在的處境，有專家認為現在已經是11點59分了，迫在眉睫，但還來得及，It's not too late！我們應盡一己之力，喚醒大家的危機意識，面對環境挑戰，善待地球就是善待自己，努力維持一個可長可久的地球，“ 環保與否，只存乎一心 ”！

台灣南部八八水災

分享一首很有地球意識的歌曲─風中奇緣 (Colors Of The Wind) ，這首歌是以美國印第安人的觀點看地球，人類與自然界是緊密相連。英國人發現美國大陸，印地安女孩 Pocahontas 向白人 John Smith 解釋自然界的神奇，所有生命都有靈性，不該將它們視為物品去征服或擁有，應該互相尊重並和諧共存。欣賞其中的歌詞，多麼和諧的境界！
